Builder gel for nails – what is it?
Builder gels are designed to help you create the structure of a gel manicure and provide the perfect base for further styling. One of the biggest advantages of these products is their incredible versatility – from basic nail building and shaping to strengthening the natural nail plate and extending its length.
They are particularly suitable for problematic, weakened, and brittle nails that require strong and long-lasting solutions. They work perfectly under both gel polishes and hybrid polishes. Meanwhile, cover builder gels are ideal for masking imperfections of the nail plate.
Builder gel – what is it?
Apply the builder gel in 1-2 layers and cure it in a UV/LED lamp. What are the key steps to achieve a flawless application? First, properly prepare your hands and nails. This means disinfecting your hands, pushing back and removing cuticles, buffing and degreasing the nail plate, and then applying a primer. Now, you’re ready to move on to your favorite builder gel.
One or two thin layers, cured sequentially under a lamp. Make sure to apply the product close to the cuticles with a brush. Once the final layer is cured and you've achieved a fully satisfying coverage effect, wipe off the sticky layer with a cleaner and shape the nails with a file. The last step is, of course, applying a top coat for a high-gloss, elegant finish. Don’t forget to nourish and hydrate your nails. And you're done!
