In the middle of last year, Hailey Bieber launched a trend for nails that look like glazed donuts. Exactly Glazed Donut Nails, because that's what we're talking about, triumphed, attracting attention with a delicate, iridescent glow and perfectly composed with a light, summer tan. This year stylists went a step further and propose Lipgloss nails as one of the most important manicure trends. Why this style has a chance to become one of the biggest mani hits this year?

Remember the lip glosses we used about twenty years ago? They may have dried the epidermis of the lips, but they gave an amazing shine and semi-transparent color effect. It was an absolute must have in every make-up bag. Now this trend  is back, but ... on our hands.

They are perfect for minimalists, as well as people who do not like intense colors and rich decorations. What is important - they shift the emphasis from ornaments to care! The basis for this manicure is a healthy, natural nail plate, which the manicure is only to emphasize. This way of styling will be gladly chosen by people who love a delicate manicure or cannot (e.g. due to work) use the richness of decorations. Well-groomed hands with a healthy nail plate, highlighted only by a shine, are part of the trend of minimalism, but also of the ever-fashionable boho style.

How to make the most fashionable manicure 2023?

We apply a varnish that is colorless or translucent to the prepared and polished nails (the most important thing is to choose the one that does not have the effect of perfect coverage, for which we are usually looking for), and then we use a top coat that gives an ultra-shiny finish. The base polish may contain glitter particles, thanks to which the nails will shine even more, while still being delicate and natural! Remember that in this manicure we focus on the care of the natural plate, so we can (and even should) use cosmetics that will primarily strengthen our nails, such as butter with vitamins and oils, which also give a delicate pink color, or nail conditioner. The top layer can also be a conditioner, e.g. with a diamond sheen.
