Relaxing, tempting with a scent, body and senses pampering – bath – is a perfect way to relax after a hard day.

What can we add to water to diversify our bath? Apart from traditional bath foam, which is present on the shelf of every tub owner, cosmetics manufacturers offer a wide range of different products. They will successfully change an ordinary bath into a sensual journey to the land of relaxation. What to choose?

  • bath oil – great for sensitive, dry and capillary skin. Vegetable oils contained in bath oils offer relief from skin irritations without causing the feeling of skin shrinkage. Moreover, essential oils (with a fragrance according to our liking) relax and soothe senses.
  • bath salt – provides rest and regeneration to the body, also perfect as a scrub. Ingredients contained in bath salts remove muscle stiffness and rheumatic pains as well as improve blood circulation.
  • fizzy bomb – mainly consists of citric acid, essential oils and soda. After dropping them into water the bombs fizz, adding color and fragrance to the bathwater. However, the most important are their properties, such as skin nourishing, moisturizing and natural pH level restoring.
  • natural powder – provides moisturization, protection and nourishment of skin. The main ingredient of bath powder is starch, which alleviates skin irritation. Bath with aromatic powders regenerates, relaxes and makes skin softer and more flexible.

Baths that are healthy for our organisms:

Goat milk and honey bath – also known as Cleopatra’s bath, not only gives sensual pleasure and a hint of luxury, but also smoothes the skin and provides proper moisture level.

Honey is rich in minerals and vitamins. Contained sugars strongly hydrate the skin leaving it velvety smooth. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to treat dermatitis and acne.

How to prepare such a bath?

Mix ¼ glass of honey with the same amount of milk and few drops of jojoba oil or your favorite essential oil in a bowl, next add it to the bath. After 15-20 minutes you can take a quick cool shower and massage a moisturizing lotion into dry body.
